Extremely compact vertical water clarification and sludge treatment plant.

Each day, in only 260m², the following results are achieved:
– 4000m³/day of clarified water and completely reused in closed cycle on aggregate washing plants;

– 260m³/day of thickened sludge to be filter-pressed;
– 120m³/day of semi-solid sludge.

Two clarifiers in load-balance

In order to reduce overall dimensions and height, turbid water is divided into two vertical static clarifiers. The hydraulic load balancing is carried out by a flow divider that is based on real-time monitoring of the levels inside the clarifier carried out with the LEM (see)

Filterpress 1300/100/30

The filterpress is sized to handle a double sludge flow rate compared to incoming sludge from the aggregate washing plant.

For this reason a high-beam filterpress model FPTA 1300/100/30 equipped with 4 plungers operating in all-wheel drive with high production capacity was chosen.

Sludge tank

A sludge tank adds further buffer to the one carried out by the static clarifiers, thus optimising the working cycles of the filterpress.
