The Group was set up in 1981. Since then Tecnoidea Impianti have built over 2,300 water purification and sludge treatment plants worldwide.

These plants are used daily to recover over two million, six hundred thousand cubic metres of water, thus playing a significant role in preserving water and energy supplies and allowing many companies’ manufacturing cycles to be optimized.

Tecnoidea, an acronym for Tecnologia Impianti Depurazione Acqua (water purification plant technology) have steadily been involved in building plants for purifying waste water resulting from aggregates (silicates, carbonates, cement, fillers, sand and clay), thus making their technology available to the mining, drilling (tunnelling and wells), ceramic and tile industries.
It took Tecnoidea Impianti no more than a few years to prove successful nationwide, as a leading manufacturer of closed cycle water purification plants.
Later Tecnoidea Impianti also penetrated the foreign market, introducing sludge treatment plants into their product range; thus Tecnoidea Impianti launched “plates filter presses” capable of processing liquid sludge resulting from purification into solid, dry, compact, waterproof sludge.
Ongoing success in building and installing such plants has allowed Tecnoidea Impianti to be ranked among the manufacturers leading the worldwide market.
